My Day Just Doesn't Get Better.

So first my new tank I cant get clean and im fed up with trying so im selling it Its made me so angry I could smash it.

Then earlier in the week I was mixing my SW and it was not salty enough. So I added some more salt now its way to salty so I can't do a WC today and I couldn't do one in the week due to other reasons so my tank is coming up to 2 weels without a water change so I need to get it sorted .

whats the matter with the tank then? just a stain? where is it and what does it look like.

Its a white crusty stain all over the glass and it is less visable when it has water in but still a bit annoying to look at.

Any idea what it is? Just thinking something like t cut would buff it out.

I think it might be hard water staining its really stubborn and won't come off.

You tried White vinegar and baking powder?

Yep I think I may have tried pretty much every thing.

Get a glass cleaner blade. Basically a stanley type blade in a handle. Should do the job once you have rubbed the vinegar on the part in question. Dont gibve up, chill out and start again!!

I really think it wont be too bad, I can see mine now and again and think I wish it wasn't there but I got an absolute bargain on my tank.
Maybe just leave it for a few days, chill out anf try and think it just wont be too bad! Honest

on a small 25l i got, it had lots of heavy dried water marks completely white, i used half lemons and rubbed it with a spong came off eventually

Was it a marine or fresh water tank before?

try lemon, it worked with me as well as scraping with razor blade and sponge.
