Adorable puppy, and 5 is a great age! I wish people would see that middle age and senior aged dogs are wonderful! They aren't the energetic little puppy that's going to rip up your house, but just a loving sweetheart that wants love.

Pepper was NEVER too energetic. She's just a big cuddly blob. If your tired she's a good addition She is actually a bit obese, at about 21 pounds. She used to be like 23, but we stopped feeding her after she got pancreatitus. It went away, so we can't gorge her anymore. She's our lil buddy. She has a very manly bark, some people think she's mean. That's because she shows all her emotions via growls. Here's a poem.

"She growls when she's happy
she growls when she's mad,
she growls when she's comfy
she growls when she's glad."
