So I can't post pictures yet, by the other day I bought the best pair of Cory Cats, a male and a female, both albino. The males name is Corpriocat, and he females name is Tantomile, (I give my fish exotic names, lol, examples are like with some of my guppies, some are named, Etcetera, Demeter, and Misc) lol, but yeah, and I also am an amazing fish namer, ever need a name for a fish, send me a message with a picture of your fish and I believe I can send you a could ideas, but back to the topic, I love my Cory Cats!

I just got two myself. I love the way they just hang out with each other. I was told To get at least three, which is what I asked for, but got home with only two. So far so good. Looking forward to some Picts!

Congrats on your new additions!! How big is your tank? If you can, try and get 3-4more as you will see some behavior you never thought a fish would show! I have 6 albino cories myself. Great fish!!!

Great to know that you got some cories but IMHO 2 is simply not enough as they are schooling fish and require groups of 5+

You've got me thinking that I should add a few more next chance I get. They are great fish, I want to make sure they're happy! :)

Oh yes, they do okay in pairs, but when you have a group, they are so funny to watch. In a 125g, I say you could have a group of 12 and have some good enetertainment :hyper:

Watch out for the tigers, as I heard they are likely to nip.

I was told to only get 2 because of the fish in my tank, both tanks are almost to full capacity and I can't buy anymore, and they are doing great together, they actually swim around and interact with each other so I'm satisfied as they are ^^

Don't get me wrong please, they will be okay as is. But a group is entertaining. All I was saying. Congrats on your cories as they are spectacular fish!

They will do okay in pairs as dieses said but in groups they will show much more personality and happy behaviour, as in a group of two they are likely to hide opposed to a group of 6. But it's not like you have one of th shyer species like c. Pygmaeus. So I don't see it coming a potential problem other than maybe a bit of stress for the first few weeks

Naw, if they are hyper active now, I doubt he will see stress. According to the OP they are active as anything, so I dont think he will see any problems at all. They def. arent shy though! You should see the feeding frenzy in my tank right now :hyper:

^^ mine are always active, there is no resting for these two, Corpriocat enjoys one of my leafy float plants very much; and Tantomile loves swimming through my bubble wall for hours xD

I have a ten gallon, and a 15 gallon, the ten gallon has my Cory cats, along with my two swordtails, two platys, and my male guppy, my 15 gallon has the rest of my guppies, which there are seven, but from a recent accidental mix up,(explained in the forum 'livebearers' under the topic name 'uh oh...') I can't put anymore fish in there because I need the room.
