My corys spawned

I noticed my bandit corys swimming madly about the tank today and stopped to watch them. I have'nt been keeping corys very long, only about 6 weeks, so I was thrilled to see one starting to lay eggs I am dead chuffed.

Hmm - I have now checked again and I can't see the eggs anymore. I think they may have been munched by my angel or my loaches. Still it was exciting for a newbie like me to see my first spawning.

Congrats on the spawning, Im waiting for my cories to spawn. Unfortunately it sounds like someone ate the eggs... Im not sure but I think you should remove them to another tank.

My QT tank is full at the moment as I am waiting for another tank to finish cycling, otherwise I would. I immediately googled to learn about spawning corys so hopefully they will do it again when I have an empty tank.

Congratulations. If you do a small water change you fill find they spawn again.

I have been doing maintanence on the big planted display tank at work today which has a large group of harlequin rasbora in it. I did about a 15% water change then literally within half an hour i looked in to the tank to see 3 pairs of rasboar spawning on the underside of some anubias.

Its amazing to watch!
