I decided to get a few Ottos to take care of my overgrowth of algae in my 20 gallon tank. After putting them in the tank I didn't see my cory cats. Later that night I looked in and saw that two out of the three corys were dead! They weren't old (less than a year old) and they didn't seem to be sick and the water is perfectly fine. I have no idea what could have killed them. Its sad, now I am going to have to get new companions for the one thats left. He looks so sad and lonely!

So sorry to hear that, Don't worry the other one will make it. Cory's are survivors, at least mine's are their the only ones left after my tank got cycled.

My remaining cory doesn't look happy at all! His color isn't as shiny anymore. I hope he doesn't die from loneliness. I am going to the pet store wednesday so hopefully then I can get some companions for him. Will it be ok to add baby corys with the adult? My pet store usually has baby ones.
