well it look slike he cant balance himelf anymore, when he stays still he'll flip ova so he kept on swimming..i know wsumthing is wrong and lately i dunno why but da tank water is kinda blurred :sly: ...not clear anymore it used to be like crystle clear

Well is he just swimming around the tank and then he just flips upside down and back upright again really quick?? if he is doing that then I wish you the best!! :( because one of my cories was doing that and a few days later I found him dead, I hope I'm not to late!! Best of luck!! HTH :)

Your cory might have a problem with its swim bladder, which is an organ that helps the fish's buoyancy. It is usually caused by a bacterial infection. Does his belly look bloated?

... yes but wut can i do to save him?

I did a little research about swim bladder problems to see if I can find something to help you. Try some antibiotics designed to cure swim bladder disease. If you have a hospital tank available, it would be better. ;)

I'm not sure if it can be transmitted to other fish. :/

Thanks alot...but my main concern is if da disease??? will spread to my oda fish....for sum reasons...i have onli been able to keep cories for 6 months then they die off on me ='(

Sounds like you have alot of fish for a ten gallon aquarium, mabe it's time to upgrade. 8)

That many fish in a tank that size will cause problems, what are your ammonia and nitrite levels like? I'd do a 40-50% water change and then daily 10% changes for a few days and see if it improves.

yes, water changes are always good.......................

I hate to always be the one to stirr things up, especially since I haven't been posting for about 6 months, but Kevin....I think your tank is pretty okay as far as too many fish ONLY......and I mean ONLY if you have adequate filteration and oxygen and you do your monthly water changes. But, 7 cories and 3 guppies doesn't sound too much to me. As long as the guppies aren't always having babies, which they probably are

Lithril, in your 10 gallon you have:

2 furcata's
5 albonubes
3 corys
1 dolichopterus

and that's not any leass than Kevin!???

Anyhow,
I just thought I'd mention that I'm having my first bout with disease in my 55 gallon, fungus..... :alien:
I was adviced to get Jungle brand fungus treatment and it says on the box that it treats swim bladder problems too. Petco has it on sale right now. It's only been in my tank now for 2 hours and the fungus is already dissappearing off of the fish, YAY!!!!

Best of luck to you.
