Since @10 Tanks inquired in another thread and so as not to hijack that thread ;) , I'm introducing my corgi, Bode, here. He is my 9 (almost 10) year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. His name is pronounced with a long e at the end, after the Olympic skier Bode Miller. He is the best dog and my best friend. He is in my profile picture with me, but here are a couple better pictures of my handsome boy.

Great looking Corgi. Did you name him after Bodi of Tulsa King fame?

I've never seen that show!

I got Bode in January 2014, right before the Sochi Winter Olympics, so Bode Miller was in a lot of tv ads leading up to the Olympics in February. I always enjoyed watching him ski in previous Olympics and I like the name, so I went with it!

Hello Geoff. Don't know much about the breed, but I see them in public all the time around here. Now, yours has the bobbed tail right? Because I understand other breeds of Corgis have their tails. Just curious.

That’s correct. The Cardigan Welsh Corgi has its tail. I believe in some countries, like the UK, it’s now illegal to do that.
