My Clove Polyps Keep Farting?

Well my cloves polyps are being wierd. they have some bubbles on the stems. and i've whitnessed at least twice then bubbles come to the surface and when they pop they have some kinda of red hairs stuff in them. then it floats to the sides of my tank and connects to the walls and it starts growing in strings...is this bad? what are they?

I mean...thats pretty weird...the pics look kinda like slime algae...ehn..I dunno.

It looks like there is a lot of algae and this is creating the bubbles, not the coral.

When algae (or plants) photosynphersize (spelling?!?!) they sometimes let off oxygen bubbles (called pearling in planted tank terms). Looks like that is what is happening here and sometimes as the algae is pearling the oxygen bubbles are enough to lift it to the surface.

Do you have much flow in your tank? Regardless of what it is, I'd remove it from my tank.

i have about 20x the flow of my tank. i have a 55 gallon tank.

alot of the bubbles are from my stupid skimmer that i'm gonna be replacing very soon, i have a sea clone 120. it's pulling stuff out, but it also pushes bubbles in. so in about a week or two i'll be replacing it with something else.

if i see these i do remove them, this time i took pictures to ask what they were. they are red in color so i was hoping for corraline or something good lol.
