my catfish

Hi I have a pimleodella angelicus catfish and I was wondering if he would eat my smaller fish? I have had neons missing and a male guppy! They have only started to disappear since I added him to my tank over a week ago. Is this normal for him?

if there small enough to fit in his mouth he'll eat it, there a predactory catfish.

Yes indeed this is very normal ! These fish require a large tank with plenty of swimming room and ideally in groups of 3+
