wow loverly tank, great fish!!
yes the tank is nice, but it should say terrible fish!

Those fish will get HUGE! That red tal cat will get to be 4 feet, and even though some will say a couple thousand gallon tasnk will be good for them, a really huge tank, like 52000 gallons, or around that will be best for one of those, meaning, a zoo, unless you can provide that size tank, and unless you are a billionair, and live in a bottem floor, ie basement, appartment, I doubt you will be able to do that.

those are :kewlpics: i love the red tail catfish i would get one if they only grew 3 inch lol but they grow 4 feet in length thats pretty big dont ya think.

I love the tigers, i wish i had room for two or three of them myself.

The tank looks pretty big, what size is it ari?

the tank is 4x1.5x1.5ft. those are young cats ...once they get bigger i will move them to something bigger...havent got a clue what that will be. :look:
well...actually i got those cats ...man ..how do u say it.. coz they are cheap...at ThaiBaht250...thats about US7....never thought about how im goping to keep them once they got bigger. the last tiger i had grew to about 2.5 in a 5x2x2 tank back home in malaysia , i had to give that cat up as i was moving to thailand a few years back.

how many us gallons is that tank?

You know it seems over stocked,

and you really should have plans made for when the fish get to big.

there gorgeous, so is your tank layout.

the tank holds 70 gallons form the given measurements and seeing as there so young at the moment thats fine, if the tank was over stcked the fish could hardly move.

i would start making those plans Ari!! i grew my TSN on to 15" in 4 months from 3-4" size in my 5x2.5x2. he could of lived in there alot longer but i wanted to get some younger cats in there which he would of eaten.

good luck.

yea ...i know what u guys mean by plan. well, i like to explain about asian mentality. first of all, when it comes to fish keeping ...everything is cheap here ...from the fish to the setup itself. we seldom make plans like u guys do ...we just go to the FS ...and if we see what we like ,we would buy it. only after that would we make up some plans ..if we ever make them at all.
if we really grow to like the fish we bought , then we would invest a little more. for example...what we in asian would do when we want our cats to grow really big is we would dig a pit and build a concrete tank, lets say a 15x 5 x5 ft on our backyard. the cost of labour and building material is truly below what u would guys would pay in the west. to add a touch of class...we would add in an orchid garden around that tank ....then it becomes a garden pool. after awhile some dude would throw in an arapaima , with the excuse that pool is too big for a cat by itself
thats the asian way
folks here have little sentiment attacted to their pet fishes ...for the plain and simple reason ..its cheap ...and they could always get more.
and another thing about asian fish keepers is ..they quickly loses interest on a particular fish...since there too many species of fishes to choose from for their next project .

if only i could build a big ol pit and maintain it for a couple of red tails and tiger hosvel noses, there so gorgeous...

here'a a tribute to my guy!!
