My bristlenosies made babies a time a go, and they're already something like 4 cm tall. They live in a different tank than their parents. I've tried to catch as many as possible, but many babies still got eaten by emerald cichlids. Actually it's a good thing, since in Finland there are so many bristles that it's difficult getting rid of them even for free, and I don't like the idea for killing them because I can't keep them myself.
I have two adults in my 612 tank and 3 youngsters, so I can't get any more of them there, and my separate baby tank is way too small to keep even one adult, so it's just for raising babies to be big enough for selling.
I've sold some of them, luckily.
