I recently purchased a OTL T8 aquarium light. I read the manuel and it said the plugg should be fused properly. It came with a 13A fuse - does it need a 10A fuse? The lead says 10A 250v.

The light initially worked this morning for a bout 15 seconds and then went out. I know the bulbs are not blown..

PLEASE PLEASE help.

no it wont be the fuse (but it could have blown).
have you checked the ballast that could be the culprit?
i would have said the started but if it did start up fine that should be ok.
hope this helps

Welcome to the forum Logansmil.
A lamp that only worked for me for 15 seconds would be back at the shop where I bought it. You should not need to deal with anything like that on a new fixture.

Thank you.

I have taken it back to the shop and I am going to purchase a new tank which comes with everything. This way I shouldn't have too much problems.

Thanks again for your help.
