So far, I'm pretty happy with it since this is literally its first day...

What do you guys think?

More pics to come!

very nice looking tank.what kinds of fish are you to put in there?oh,and what size is it?

looking good so far, what are your stocking plans?

Thanks.

Stocking plans are quite rigid as I'm moving all of the fish form my old tank to this one, so:

A pair of Keyhole cichlids
2 Clown loaches (think I'll get 2 more)
3 Peppered Corys
10 Neon tetras
5 Rummynoses
1 Bristlenose Plec

I'm thinking of buying a pair of Pearl Gouramis, a pair of Bolivian Rams and a shoal of a nice colourful tetra/danio/rasbora. Suggestions?

i've been hunting for pearl gouramis too!!!
so give me a shout if you find some in our LFS--

There are loads of pearl gouramis in Wholesale Tropicals in Bethnal Green, check it out, it's a great shop. :good:

Good job.

Thanks.

Here is another photo of my Java Fern which I think is already 'pearling':

looks good, one thing I would do is point the filter outlet upwards/forwards as opposed to straight down as you appear to have it atm, get the water surface rippling for better oxygenation

I'd keep the loaches out of the mix. They will get too big for that size tank. Maybe a pair of Rams instead, and you would be pretty well stocked.
