None of mine seem to have any aggression problems so far, they are living among 6 young angelfish.

I am going to start breeding angels and blue rams :D

What are your tank conditions like? pH/temp wise :)

Ill get the water parameters tomorrow, BUT the temp is about 82 degrees right now.

and the coolest thing is.... THEY JUST SPAWNED! I came home tonight and 2 of the 4 paired up and chose a corner and laid their eggs on one of my rocks. I don't have my separate tanks set up for breeding yet so im going to get a divider to separate them from the other 10 fish in the tank.

lovely looking fish like
the colors

Thank you very much, they are one of my favorite species :D they just spawned also!

They are lovely! Very warm temperature you have, mine is 24c/72f which is probably why my Golds didn't last long.

Congratulations, must be great conditions for them :good:

I think its 26+ they need

Thanks everyone :D

They do seem very happy, they spawned sooner than i expected! Alot of my fish spawn very often (zebra danios, platies, neon tetras, guppies) etc. I don't really try to save the eggs or raise any of the young because I didnt have room for other tanks to separate the fry in. BUT, i just setup a big work area in my garage for this :D And have 4 10 gallon tank setups coming in on wednesday just for this purpose of raising the babies cause ive been dying to see if i have what it takes to care for them. Also I already found two local pet stores to purchase them off of me once they are old enough since i wont have the space to keep all of them. This should be a fun summer since I will be attempting to successfully raise Blue Rams AND my other favorite.. Angelfish :D I also look forward to attempting to breed Discuss in the future but one step at a time lol im a first timer

PH is at about 6.6 im going to lower it to 6.5 or lower. Also a major bummer is one of the other fish got to the eggs and ate most of them over night! only 20 remain :( i moved the rock they were laid on into a floating hatchery and hope i can raise them in there myself.

Not what i wanted to happen BUT a learning experience it will become. Plus they should lay again in a few weeks so its not too bad
