this is the latest addition to the family, Omega. he's a grumpy little guy and is completely non-photogenic. the first pic is the flash illuminating his colors, and the second pic is what he looks like normally - dark and mysterious 8)

the rips at the end of his upper tail are almost healed now :) he was a little beat up from the petstore.

my second guy is Mr. Wiggles. he's an absolute ham and has given me quite a few cute poses for the camera. the first pic was taken when i first got him.

thanks for looking! :D

oh yeah and don't worry, those plastic plants in Mr. Wiggles's last pic aren't in his tank, they're behind it. i'm still searching for some nice silk ones.

yep, both are in one gallons. i'd love to give them bigger houses but i don't have the room :/

gorgeous bettas

try ebay for silks...or walmart craft section if you want a really good price :)

Whats wrong with plastic plants?

I use soft plastic plants in my 2 betta tanks (5 gallon divided and 3 gallon) They are not hard and don't harm the bettas fins at all!

Silk plants can harm fish just as much as remember if they brush against the edges It can give them a cut just as bad as a paper cut.

well my last betta got cut on these particular ones so i thought i'd try out something else. i got kinda nervous to put them in the tank after that..
