My Bettas

I am not sure if I posted these yet... But anyways.

Aaand since I know I haven't been here in a while an update aswell

Well my divided 10 gallon is working out great!

All of my fish mysterly died in my 20 gallon so I took it down, discenfected the whole tank, bought new gravel, and totaly re-did my tank! It looks awesome now! Best part is it is now going to be a female betta sorority!!!!

Risteek:

Risteek is still my oldest betta. He is a vieltail.
He is about a year old and he is still healthy and active Currently he lives in the divided 10gal

Majestic:

Majestic is currently my only CT. He is also doing great. He lives in the divided 10 gallon.

Casper:

Casper is a purty VT. he lives next to Risteek in the divided 10 gallon. He had a mild case of finrot but it is gone.

Ruben:

Ruben is my healthy red VT. he lives in a 1 gallon bowl on my dresser. he is a healthy boy and loves to laze around

Trojan:

Trojan is my boo-t-ful black/white/blue VT boy. He is so spunky and just loves to swim around, build bubble nests and have fun. he also had a mild case of fin rot which is healing up nicely

You should really be careful when putting females together. I've read in other forums where that situation ended quite badly with the females fighting & killing eachother.
So keep an eye on them!

Beautiful! Are those little flower pots you have on their sides in the tank? I've been hearing a lot lately about creating caves for my betta. Can anyone elaborate on that? I do see that he sometimes sleeps between the little heater and the glass on the fastener for the heater so maybe he does need more places to hide--I have tall plants and floating plants...2 gallon bowl..Thanks. So keep an eye on them!

Females are fine when kept in groups of 5 or more (pref 7 or more) as they start a heirarchy and generally thats it. Less than 5 they will just nip and fight all the time.

I will hopefully have all they girls that I am getting soon and then on the weekend they will move into my 20 gallon. Sunday would be the best day as I will be home all day.
