and my blue hm pk without flash! I think he must have some MG in him because he has a lot of yellow in his ventrals and anal fins, you can just see it in these pics, but they're terrible pics!!

Pretty fish. ^^

Of the first two pics, the second is what the fish looks like to you in normal tank lighting, right?

Aww they are looking good Jess

Your white plakat looks like he's particularly showing off his bit of tail missing saying "just look what she did to me!"

Thanks everyone! :D

The female actually doesn't look that pink really.. They dont have a light in their tanks as they're in my bedroom window so they just get sunlight and light from my bedroom light, but she actually looks more white than pink, i think the pic just came out funny

 Joby - I dont think he was very impressed, but it was his own fault for jumping through the teeniest gap, then getting stuck where i couldn't get at him  It seems to be healing well with lots of water changes and salt though! :D

Lovely betta's and very healthy well done.

you not bred him yet,i was going to use his picture on my web site but opted for me wilds.......will get that female out to you next week will be warmer then. :hey:

Thanks Wilder :)

I did try to breed the white pair a couple of weeks ago but the male is so stupid  He built a lovely bubblenest and did all the flaring etc but he had no clue what else to do. He spent about four days just chasing the female and swimming aorund with her, and she kept chasing him to the bubblenest (she wants him!lol) but he was just completely clueless!! Im hoping he may be able to work it out next time  Stupid boy!!"

And that lovely blue girl is going to be spawned with my blue plakat if/when the white ones manage to work it out! :D

Put in another male for a while in a container so they can see each other this will encourage him to want the female as he will fight for her... works every time for me when i have a reluctant male and there is no physical damage this way.. but they think they have had a fight and once the other male is removed it only a matter of time before he looks for her and they spawn......

I don't know if it's just me or the photo flash, but it looks like the white/pinkish male betta's eyes look clouded/cloudy...
This is very common with opaques, their opaque layer tends to spread over their eyes as they age.
Very pretty little man nonetheless, though
