my bettas fins have been ripped by the male so what do i need to treat her with to prevent infection

melafix acts as an antiseptic, but is hard to get in this country. keeping the water clean and salting 1 level teaspoon of aquarium salt per gallon will usually stop any infection from taking hold.

I'd just keep the water extremely clean and add 1/2 teaspoon of aquarium salt per gallon of water.
