my bettas did the dirty

and 3 days later there is no eggs or bubbles and no fry ....would the male have eaten them ???

Were there eggs/fry/nest to begin with? If so he's to blame, but I am just confused as to what you had in the first place

Yes the male was still in there with them over the 3 days
The net was under the Styrofoam cup that I put in there and it was just about full with bubbles and on the 3rd day after there little fun there was none.

im guessing the male ate them all.. i usually take the male out after about 24 hours of seeing eggs

You should have had a 'betta cam' so you could've seen what happened. Or maybe something scared him or gave him the hint of 'danger'. Because when they feel danger coming, he'll eat all of his eggs.
