this is calico's favorite resting spot. look closely at the top of the pic & you'll see his fins floating above the filter.

i just noticed bb doing this last night. these 2 are so weird!

How big is their tank?
Sometimes bettas like to hang out behind the filter because that's the only place they can go to escape the current...

And I'm not really sure what your other boy is doing but it looks like he's doing betta gymnastics.

hi bettamomma. their tank is a mini bow divided 2.5. each side has sections where they can go to get away from the current. and actually, i've noticed that both like to play in the currents for awhile. when they tire of it they rest on the bottom sometimes - the current doesn't go down that far i don't think except right under the whisper filter and it's too small for bb to go there anyway.

basically i guess i've just got 2 strange bettas who like their 'gymnastics' - yes that's a great way to describe it!
