I was ready to scrap this pair because they've been in the tank for 4 days with no results.. I got in the shower, and planned to remove them from the tank and clean it out once I was dressed.

I come back into my room from the bathroom and see my female with her head to the bottom of the tank, fins clamped, totally submissive. So I'm thinking 'What the..?'
I sat down to watch, and within 30 seconds they were embracing! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
I immediately called my friend Sarah [who is also on the forum :D] over, and we've been watching them ever since.

The female's eaten a few eggs, and the male's pretty beat up, but they've embraced about 20 times so far.. every other time a couple of eggs come out of the female, so I'm thinking they're either close to being done, or just getting started.. I was gone for half an hour and all the embracing I've seen has been in the last 20 minutes, so I'm not too sure.

But yayy! :hyper: They're finally embracing! :hey:

 They heard you overtalking about them not being good enough to breed so they hurried it up just for you! ;) J/K

I am glad they finally are embracing. Must be amazing to watch. :D

Navarre called me a perv for watching them. :p

It is amazing.. I tried to get pictures, but my camera just sucks. :(

I forgot to mention.. I was using a bunch of hornwort as my floating plant, and now there's a massive amount of bristles all over the bottom of the tank, specifically under the nest. :X Anyone got any ideas how to get the bristles out without inducing Daddy to do some egg-munching?
