My Bettas Are Coming!!!

I'm *sooo* excited! BettaTalk just e-mailed me back about my Bettas... they'll be driving/flying up from LA tomorrow!! Aww, I can't wait! I just went to my LFS to get a few things tonight, and the tanks are set up and being filtered and air-bubbled now... I can't believe I have to wait 1 1/2 more days! I'm getting a Green/White Butterfly pair, called Green Moons, plus a FREE "suprise" fishy, and a few Java Ferns for the new babies These are my first Bettas since last year, when my DT Marble boy, Bo Jangles, died... I'm ridiculously excited.

I was also curious if anyone here has Betta babies from BettaTalk? If so, do you love them, and please post pics! If you wanna check out who I'm getting, my little lot is still on the Stock For Sale page... its 9A-GM3

I was also asking questions, and she told me to NEVER feed live Blackworms, as they cause Dropsy and other illnesses. I know quite a few people here feed/have suggested feeding live Blackworms.. I definitely won't now, but I was just wondering what peoples opinions here are? I'm going out today to buy frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms. These will be some spoiled little Bettas

Bettatalk's Bettas are just gorgeous. I eyed them for a long time (and still do for a good oogling).

Kiarra, they are insanely beautiful ! I'm so happy my Dad is getting them for me!! Everything is all set up and wating for them... I haven't gotten an e-mail on whether or not she's sent them. I really hope she did! Here's the description on the stock page... they're listed as 'Sold', but I guess she keeps them up for a while...

A stunning green moon male with exquisite finnage AND color AND pattern! The best of all 3 worlds make this lot a GRAB. This is a medium sized male with long flowing finnage, full 180 degree tail span hehe and gorgeous emerald green color, with thick white fin tips. PLUS, NO RED IMPURITY - as in: not a hint of red ANYWHERE. ) The BF pattern is high contrast and it is a good pattern on all 3 fins with one minor pattern flaw on anal fin, where a green ban goes beyond the white edge. This male is very active displaying a lot and goes without saying, ended up tearing the very tip of his tail. Reduced accordingly but let that not make you lose sight of the high caliber of this stunning betta! Paired up with a sister for best results. All levels

The green BF are one of my favorites besides her blue BF and Emerald Dawn colors. You are so lucky you are getting some! We need pics! Lots of them when they arrive...

Congrats splashluff! I looked them up, they're absolutely beautiful! What size tank are they going in? And what filter(s)are you using? Just wondering. Congratulations again.

I favor the Apaches myself, but I have always loved the Green Moons.

Alabaster, thanks!! The "suprise" fishy is going in a 2.5g MiniBow in the living room... at the moment, the Green Moon pair are going in 1g Aquaviews. I'm going to be working at a Feed/Aquarium store in a couple weeks, so hopefully I can get them into 2.5-3g aquariums then!! I think the MiniBow has a 'Whisper' filter... or something. The Aquaviews came with a UGF, but Im not going to use it. I'll just be cleaning their tanks a couple times a week

Kiarra, my parents wanted Apaches! Those, or Satin Flames. They're *really* pretty, but I love green or blue Bettas... the suprise fishy is probably going to be red!
