wow he looks pretty!!! not to mention happy in that nice big mansion of his :D

Lol... Yeah, im thinking maybe its too big now!!! :*) Will have to find something that can go in there with him!!!

Looks nice :) Can i suggest putting the light above him more directly? I have read that it can affect fishes swimming if they're constant light source is not above them.

You can add cories, and I heard white clouds also live ok with bettas.

Anyway, look into getting some type of floating plant. Best in my opinion is water lettuce, but don't use it if you have a full hood or inadaquate lighting.

Anyway, bettas come to the surface a lot, and he'll be happier if there's some shade at the surface to hide under.

Hey Ben!

You're right, the lighting is bad!!lol Its only temporary though! :) I shall be buying a light that can go in the lid probably tomorrow or monday! I just wanted to get him a better tank today and the shop was so busy i couldn't be trying to sort everything out!!lol

Oooh, Arnie's my betta that didn't come from Aquatic Habitat... Arnie 1 (First one, from AH) was prettier, but he was red and didn't match my bedroom!!lol Priorities...

You posted at the same time!!! I will look into some better plants! thanks! :) The only problem with that tank is that it is not filtered, can those fish live in unfiltered water?

It would be permenant. Any other suggestions? All i can think of are goldfish but they cant be kept with bettas because they're very dirty!!! I have no idea what to do with him... :dunno:

He should be ok with his snails for the moment though i guess! The new tank should entertain him for a while! :)
