my two bettas are very lonely so is it ok to put a goldfish in with them

Are they male or female bettas, if their males then they need to be seperated immediatly, if their females they need at least another 2 of them with plenty of hiding spots in at least a 10 gallon tank. No you can't put goldfish with bettas, bettas are tropical fish and goldfish are coldwater fish. What size tank are they in?
