My betta with dropsy now has fin rot

I transfered my Betta with dropsy to his own tank, and today I noticed fin rot. The ends of his fins are slpitting and look like they are going to fall off.

I'm very worried I am convinced he will die soon. What should I do?

Dropsy is like untreatable cancer for fishies. And with finrot...personally...I would euthinize unless you have a cabnet full of special medications.

I've never had to euthanize...which way is best and painless?? I don't want to, but I will is it is best.

Macaryn II is the best stuff, and if you can get some colloidal silver, I wouldn't euthanize yet

well I cant get to an lfs until tomorrow...and he's had dropsy for at least a week now He won't eat. And he hangs out near the tank heater near the surface. I have a post in emergencies please look there.
