I have a aquabrite 5 gallon aquarium! My Betta seemed bored and yesterday I went to sea dwellers and I was told I could get 3 white clouds and 2 aeneus cory catfish to be Charlies new companions! How do I make sure to feed them the right amount of food so the cory fish get some goodies also! I bought some blood worms and Charlie really loves them. Well I called the sales lady and asked her what can i do to make sure the cory's and white clouds get the right food! She said to crumble up some flake food for the white clouds and to put some betta bites in for the cory fish and they'd sink to the bottom for the cory's! I did this and those white clouds ate almost all the blood worms then ate the crumbled flakes! I had to put a few more blood worms in so Charlie got some! I turn off my filter system while they eat or it heads for the filter!
My question is how do I feed these fish without over-feeding them! When I got the new fish yesterday she told me Charlie won't overeat! How about those tiny white clouds. I know they ate way more then they should have! everything was devoured in 6 or 7 minutes!
I read to feed them several times a day! Is this right?
Charlie chased after the White Clouds, for the first 3 or 4 hours! My 80 year old mother lives with me and she kept yelling that charlie was going to eat the white clouds! They kept in a school swimming really fast! I had them in the bags I brought them home in for a couple hours in the aquarium then I put them in water I took out of the aquarium for about 20 miutes then I released them in the tank!
Charlie pays no attention to the cory catfish since he ran into one of them and he spun around real fast and hit a ceramic log!
