Any comments would be much appreciated :D

It looks really good, man. It appears you've put some thought into the set up of your tank.

How long have you had it?

I have been keeping fish for about 10 years so 2/3 of my life, i have only just really got into looking after them, as before i used to be a bad fish keeper, with water changes every 2 weeks, now i try and do 2 a week, i haven't been too specific on the stocking, but i am learning quickly about the fishes, so my tank can only get better
i have only just got the 25l tank had it about 2 weeks now, seems to have matured quite quickly.

Hi,
Those are two great looking tanks!

I have to ask, do the kribs get much hassle from the firemouths? And does the shark keep to himself and not bother anyone?

Very nice. The Kribs, Firemouth and Angelfish arnt in the same tank are they? If they are you are askingfor trouble especially with the FMs breeding.
Ive never heard of Cloride cichlids before. Do you know a scientific name for them?

Thanks :good:

I dont seem to have any problems between the firemouths and kribs, only in the breeding, which is understandable, but the kribs quickly got the picture.
The shark is wonderful, he is fine with everything in the tank, no problems at all.

Thanks for the comment

I used to have two of them. They are called Etroplus maculatus/Orange Chromide, a peaceful brackish cichlid

They are all together, i have had no troubles with them, even when the firemouths were breeding,i just seem to have the perfect fish of all the 3 species

I only got the cromide cichlids today, but i knew they were at my lsf and i found this: My link
i will add a entre into the lists of fish after i get a amount of experience with the fish.

They are really nice tanks, well built, good looking and quite. There are a few problems tho the filtration is not the best, but u can't expect much, i already have a few mods in mind. And the most anoying thing is that you have to bail out water when u want to add a fish, to float the bag , but i suppose that is just small tanks in general.

:oh: Westwood, can I point out that in the Sparkling Gourami photo, the pretty green plant is non-aquatic. It may survive for more time, but after a few months, it will rot and will cause an ammonia spike and will mess around with your water stats.
Carl

Great thanks for the heads up, by any chance do you know the name of the plant?

I can't see the full plants so I can't ID it for you but im positive its not aquatic.
Carl :D
