my powder blue dwarf gorami has black spots 2 cm past it's head on the top and is about 3cm on the bottom. I have a pic but this site is not letting me post it. It's not great but it shows what im talking about if you need it I could send it to u. I have had this tank set up for 4 years and this fish has had been in this tank for two years any help woud be appreciated. I have looked up the needs for this fish and every thing seems to be right in the tank I belive this must be a disease.

The picture might be too big for the site to allow it on. Try making it smaller.
Black patching that suddenly appears is often associated with chemical poisoning, ie: ammonia burns or overdosing with medications. Check the water quality and do a few water changes and gravel cleans. Make sure the filter is working ok and see how the fish looks in a week or so.
Check the light and heater as they might be leaking a small amount of current into the tank and that can cause the fish to go black. You will know if there is a bit of current getting into the tank because you will get a tingly sensation or a zap when you stick your hand in the tank.
