If from the pictures above anyone can tell me what sex some of them are that would be great, i think i know what most are but i will see what you lot think.

Most of the above are recently acquired and all seem to be enjoying their new homes.

Thanks Darren.

Wow, impressive tanks and fish Dazza.
Loving the little kribs in the 90l

An impressive collection of fish you have.

James

Very healthy collection of cichlids you have :good:

Keith.

cant help with the sexing im afraid. but i love your set-ups
But on your 240L, what powerhead are you using? and i notice the only surface agitation is from the air coming from the powerhead. Have you ever had issues with low O2? (ie fish gulping at surface)
Im interested because in my 240, im paranoid about not agitating the surface enough. Also, my venturi [sp?] only seems to work if it is less than 3" (give or take) from the surface. I would love to move the powerhead down like yours, but it don't work!
P.s is that a Fluval external you're running? 305? 405?

Ive always had an air pump on my Aquariums but in my local Aquatic store i saw one running on a big tank and then saw the same one for sale and for the price i thought i would try one.

I cant comment on other one ie makes etc as this is the only one ive tried its a Rena Powerhead, Rena Flow 600 PH Complete flow and aeration system 150-250L 580L/h 1,10m this is what it says on the box.

So i took my air pump set up off the 240L and put the Powerhead in as you can see in the pics.

Im happy with it, i also bought a sponge filter and fitted that onto it so it acts like a little filter aswell. It puts alot of movement into the water and seems to aer-ate quite well.

The fish seems fine.

For aeration like i have it, it can go down to a max of 5 inchs from the water surface.

Yes its running a Fluval 305 external filter.

I hope that answers everything.

Thanks Again Darren.

How old is your Firemouth? He doesn't seem to have typical markings? I love your GT's and JD's, a really great mixture of fish and tanks you have there!

I cant say exactly how old he/she is as i re-homed him/her, him/her is around two and a half inchs.

Out of my larger Cichlids the Green Terror defo has the best colours.

Thanks Again Darren.

Ive added a few more bits to the 240 Litre tank, i will let the pictures do the talking.
