Hello all,

I am new to owning fish, i currently have

5 Tetra neons

3 orange swordtails (i think thats the right name lol)

2 black mollys
great looking fish!

they all seem to be fine and get along great, exept one problem with one of the orange swodtails.

ive noticed that two of them swim together all the time and the other one swims on his own and sometimes just goes to the corner of the tank by the filter and doesnt move like hes unhappy,or is he just resting?
he does swim around occasionaly, its just when he doesnt move it concearns me.

but ive noticed that if he swims up to the other orange fish one of them will like chase him away?

i have done a video of them and you will see the one swordtail in the corner by my blue filter just still.
i am very sorry for the poor video quality,i must get a new camera

let us know your tank size and filteration, by the way believe it or not swordtails can grow to about 4" and over the years i have had a few that can get nasty if limited on space, they are hardy and quite long lived as well as prolific breeders hence id like to know how big your tank is, also you must have an idea of future tank mates

Also, Neon Tetras prefer acidic water, while Livebearers prefer more alkaline water. Neons don't always do well in a new tank, unfortunately. Swordtails can get surprisingly large, 3-4''. What size is your tank?.
