my angel fish not eating food

my angel fish are not eating the tubifex worms nor the shrimp that i got. any suggestions as to why?

Need alot more info on size of tank, how many fish and which type, water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, what do you feed the fish as some fish won't eat when they have constipation, plus what does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.

its a 15g but i will soon get 29 or bigger. i did a test on the water and everything is where it should be. they do eat flakes like crazy. they eat the tubifex worms when i break them into itsy bitsy pieces. they peck at the shrimp but leave it alone after about 2 minutes. and when they go to the bathroom it looks normal.

Some angels are picky eaters. I've noticed that a larger group will devour most anything, smaller groups or pairs tend to be more finicky. I guess they know when there is a larger group they'd better eat now, or they won't get any.

As long as they are eating the flakes they are not sick. If you really want them to eat the tubiflex or shrimp, don't feed them for 2 or 3 days. They wil probably eat them then. I skip feedings to get fry weaned off bbs & used to flakes.

I just vary mines diet as much as possible with granular food, floating sticks, tubifex and their favourite is frozen bloodworm/brine shrimp etc.

I give them a different mix each time I feed them.
