Hey Guys, this is my tank.
It is a 90 gallon oceanic bowfront.
I am running a 29 gallon sump/refugium made by myself, it has a coralife super skimmer 125 in it. My refugium has 50/50 reefgrow bulbs in it -- 26 watts. I am currently using a rio hyperflow 17 hp return pump, it is giving me roughly 850 gph.
For my main display, I have 130 lbs of mixed fiji/sherman islands rock. The other day I ordered 30lbs of aquacultured rock from liverocks.com, great stuff btw, tons of life.
In the tank I have 2 x 295 gph maxijet, gives me plenty of flow. For heating, I keep my tank at a constant 82 degree using a 300 watts heater in my sump, in the day my metal halides keep the water at 82, never gets any hotter than that.
In the hood, I have built in 2 x 250watt retro kits, I am currently switching out my 20k bulbs for 15k...right now those are 20k bulbs...a little to blue for my taste.
I am really liking my tank, I have been working really hard on it and I am glad to see it finally get together. Now I just need my 15k bulbs and some cheato (already ordered from a friend) and I am set and just have to wait for my cycle to finish.
I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading...
Overall Shot, sorry for the poor quality...I have a very bad camera...
Shot with my door open....you can see my empty refugium and some of my skimmer...
A closer shot of my aquascaping, I tried to fill my tank up and stack it high, kind of hard with a 29 inch tall tank, but I did it
This is a shot looking from the right side of the tank in, the liverock kind of goes out on the left because of the built in overflow, but it looks good nonetheless.
A Closer picture of my sump/refugium, I'm really loving my new one, I bought a 8 gallon before I knew it was to small and decided to build my own, it's working GREAT! I just need cheato.
Well thank's for looking, All I have for now, once I get my new bulbs I'll Show you guys pics of that, thanks again
