seeing as im becoming a frequent member here i thought id introduce all my babies!!
from oldest to youngest...
Eccles age 4
A farmer left her in a barn after his daughter grew bored of her.
he contacted me to take her on or he would release her in the field.as a result of being left for 6 months in a dark barn eccles is blind.she is also deaf but thats down to poor breeding (again)
Ruby age 1.5 ex breeding stock kept in poor conditions kept in a 2-3ft hutch no room to play
jay age 1.5 locked in the same hutch as ruby.
Zuma age 8 months the result of ruby and jay being kept in the same hutch.
Pixel age 8 months again the same result as having ruby and jay in the same hutch
poppet age 5 months.... poppets story is one of sheer horror. she was dumped on my door step with a life threatening illness. its the same old story the breeder didnt want its "stock" infected.... although i must admit this breeder showed sympathy and gave her a chance with a rescue.
fearne cotton-tail age 8 weeks Left to live in her own faeces with her brother both unspayed, suspecting the woman wanted to breed them but her landlord told her to get rid due to the 1 cm thick layer of poo left ocated on the carpet.
All these rabbits except from Fearne (too young) are nuetered or spayed.
Jay,Ruby And Eccles all livin in a 9.5ft hutch and run area in the garden
Fearne, Poppet, Zuma and Pixel live in my bedroom freerange 24/7.
