cheers for the advise i totally agree..... :good: i have some more plants on order but am stuck on which background to get there are so many i like its driving me crazy

I agree with smoothy, more plants would be nice, I'm so envious of the lovely setups you see on here, it gives me good idea's for my very modest effort.

Looks good for a few plecs. Having said that, it also looks like an acrylic tank which will reduce the types of plecs you can put in it..

i didnt realise that  how does this affect then??? can you explain not sure if it is acrylic also i can tell you the make is Jebo

Panaques will scratch acrylic with their teeth, Scobis probably will as well.

edit - tank looks good, try a plain black background, bin liner works

Because plecs like to rasp, there have been reports of acrylic tanks being scratched by their rasping...I wouldn't say this is a definite problem as it may well depend on the typs of plecs, their size etc etc....but just something to be aware of.
Assuming it they do scratch the tank, then apart from it being quite irritating to see your tank being scratched up (although acrylic is repairable), i doubt digesting bits of acrylic would do them much good in the long run either..
