snowyangel i just did a 55 with playsand from home depot.or if your near london a few lfs here sell sand.

Really? And its safe for aquariums? Guess I'll have to go check it out, but no Depot here. Only stuff like home hardware and canadian tire but thanx for the info mark

Love the substrate!!!!.....I have been thinking about redoing the 180 with sand.....

SKURRY!!! I would sure have alot of white gravel to use in a different tank or 6....lol

I bought the sand for $5 at a pool/hot tub store.... Its just white pool filter sand.

I still have not yet decided what kind of tropical fish I want to get... I still have about another weekish before the tank cycles so i better make a couple more trips to the lfs
