I had them looking at each other since saturday night. I let the female loose today, there was no nestr but he is chasing her around.
Hopefully things will settle down soon. I put some bubbles in the tank from another male that is building nests. :D

Lets see how it goes.

 a little concerened, he just keeps her on her side of the tank but haqngs out under the paper cup. he has a smal nest built but nothing to brag about. I left them together over night and today. Should I pull him/her if nothing remotely starts happening?

Let them be, it's not unusual for them to go a couple, few or several days before starting to spawn, sometimes even a full week. So unless someone is in danger of being seriously injured, just let them be. When they're ready, they will spawn.

Thanks I think he was getting rambunctious and I had to seprate them and call it off. He wouldnt even let her eat and I couldnt stand her being like that. He was mean. they are in their contaners floating. I am pickingout the next sopawning pair now. :(

awww, that's a bummer. But don't forget how tough those little ladies are :flex:  They can handle a male betta better than anybody. I know it's hard not to intervine.

ok trying another couple , they are seperated right now and hopefully I can release her tonight. I will keep you posted.
alrighty i released her this morning and they arent doing anything  just like they were kinda friends, he only flares if she gets to close then they run in opposite directions. No nest just hanging on each side  I will leave them together for a week unless he or she gets to mean. ;)
