This is my 1 Gallon TankNo Heating - Just ambient from PC underneath it (On24/7)
Filtration is the HOB 60l/phr filter that came with it, but i changed the pads to Course Sponge > Fine Sponge > Filter Floss.
Lighting is the 9watt Lamp that comes with and Blue Reef Lamp for evening and night time.
No Co2 or Added Ferts.
W/C 10% per week with Top Ups every other day with stright Tap water. Stopped using Decholrinator 3 months ago on all my tanks.
Plants:>
Flame Moss on 2 peices of Bogwood
Anubia Nana
Some sort of Crypt
Marimo Balls 1 Cut in Half and Flattened
Flaoting - Frogbit and Duckweed.
Fish:>
Pix show an Apple snail, but he is too messy for it.
now
Red Ramshorns
2 Tiger Endlers Male and a few females.
Fed on Hikari Flake, King British Catfish pellets and Spirulina Capsules. .

Cool, I also have flame moss it's a great plant.

Nice Gill, I like the marimo balls, very nice touch. What made you stop using dechlorinator. When I lived in Washington state, I didn't need it either. I just set my water out for a day and that was it, but in FL, we've got Chloramines and other such wonderful things (for flavor), so I need a dechlorinator.

Thanks, I Love how you can change the look of a tank instantly with marimo balls. They are so versatile.

I stopped using dechlorinator as an experiment a few months back, by gradually reducing the amount i added to the 90G. So far no lossess, so i tried it on this and no lossess.

For the 1G i let the water sit for a day before using.

On the 90G i jus plug the Pyphon onto my Outdoor Hose. I found that the Fish love to swim in the water as it enters the tank and the cories go crazy for it, swimming in and out of the outflow from the Python.

Nice :) I tried a similar thing to this recently but didn't work out. Hope you have better luck than I did :)

Working out great so far.

Most of the Duckweed is now growing on the sponges inside the filter, so that wil help.

Need to remove some of the Frogbit as its covered 90% of the surface and its roots are burying into the Substrate.

The Endlers are happy - colors coming thru nicely and the females are all ready to drop soon, so will put them back into to 90 to have the fry, and then put them back.

The Little Filter is so effecient - better than any i have used so far. The inlet locks into the place so now messing about with lining it up with the pump.

You can see my Scaping Tools. A straw and a cuticle thingy, perfect for this little tank. The straw also acts as the syphon for water changes. just push it ino the filter outlet and the water drain out.

The endlers probably like the cover and expanse of plants :)

Yep I think your right, I wish that Floating lants lasted in the 90, The Apple snails eat them within a few days.

I have problems with my pest snails chomping on the frogbit. Luckilly I have so much of the stuff they can't keep up

Taken this down now, now thinking of a new scape idea.
And waiting for LFS to get in some Nano fish he has on order.
