just wondering what i would need if i wanted to convert my 60l tropical tank to a musk turtle setup.

this wont happen for a while if it does happen.

Firstly I have to say I don't feel 60L is a big enough tank for life, (90L for one would be my absolute minimum suggested tank size, a Roma 90 is ideal IMO)

However you would need either a fine sand substrate or large beach cobbles, or go with no substrate
a hefty filter approx twice the size required for the tank,
heater and UV bulb (2% min)

then a number of dry areas, IME musks don't spend a lot of time completely out of the water so a sloping ledge on the waterline is ideal as well as a lot of gnarly branches and driftwood pieces that poke out above the waterline, (musks are climbers in nature so these are usually appreciated
 
okay, i havent got the option to go bigger :sad: so ill just have to leave them for now
