Mushroom Polyp

Hello again.

I bought some more live rock at the weekend, and I noticed this morning that there was a small Mushroom polyp growing out of the side of it.

Will this little fellow require any extra care, or will it be quite easy to look after?
My tank is setup for a reef with regards to lighting/skimmer etc.

Depending on placement in regards to what the shroom is accustomed to, not a whole lot of specific care is needed for them.

Hey, how long do these take to spread? we r talking about Coralimorphs?

Slow and steady...with good care, you should see new polyps within 1-2 weeks. Might see tank separate areas in 4-6. SH
