i seem to be getting lots of tiny holes appear in my plants and can only put it down to MTS munching on them.

i only have low light plants like swords, anubias and ferns which were doing great but as i say they are covered in small holes. non of my fish are eating the plants so could it be the MTS?

not IME...small holes are usually C02 or lack of related.

It seems unlikely; I've got hundreds of MTS and none of my plants have holes in.

ok well thats a bit of a relief as i didnt fancy picking them out as there are probably hundreds in there......

Ian if its a co2 issue whats the best way about it?

maybe i should start something in the planted part of the forum....

is this a new problem?
the plants have been in since feb/march and all seemed quite well with good growth etc. but over the last few weeks ive got a very holey sword thats beyong saving i think and a few appearing in my anubias, my windelov also doesnt seem to be as happy as it was....

im doing nothing different and have changed nothing in my routine. lighitng is 3 x arcadia LED eco-aqua tubes and are on for about 7.5 hours with staggered starts and turn offs of about 20 minutes between eahch one so not to startle the fish and to try and as gently as poss increase and decrease the lighting.

50% water change weekley and the only chemical i add to the tank is seachem prime.
