jst gt my1st clown today  makes tank lookgreat.
been in for about 6 hours now, ive put some frozen(thawed out) krill in and clown dont seam to be intrested, takes in his mouth and spits back out.
do they noy eat krill???
or is the clown still a bit stressed from the move?

he may be stressed a little, but mine spat out watever they didnt like. try brine or mysis

My clowns favourite without question is frozen lobster eggs. They will eat that till the cows come home. They also love flake food too. Mysis they tend to not be that fussed over. Bloodworm is ok, although they seem to prefer the freeze dried over frozen. Its funny watching my clowns eat the eggs because they go nuts for it and their guts get soooo fat.

try other things, also it may be too big for them to eat.

When i first got clowns they didnt really accept the food i gave them and only ate very little. Now they try to eat everything that touches the waters surface, food or not food....

Im lucky, my clowns started eating straight away and thye eat anything! I feed hikari sinking pellets for the smaller marine fish, king british mix (flake, freeze dried kirll and brine shrimp and other stuff), frozen krill, live/frozen brine shrimp and they eat frozen microplankton that i feed my coral :D
