Moving

I currently have my 5 ft tank sitting on 4 chairs, steel framed, will be making the stand/cabinet and hood in the next week or so. Would it be possible, with getting the man power, to move the tank with the fish/ water/ gravel and all in the tank?

Anything is possible with enough man power.......but.........I would thoroughly not recommend moving any tank while full of water especially one that size

It will stress the fish (but no more than catching them all and bagging them) but maybe take out as much water as possible, leaving just enough for them to survive in then do the move quickly as poss? I'm guessing that you just want to move the tank from it's (very unsuitable) position up onto the finished cabinet and not down the street or anything!

lol yeh just up on to a cabinet, the chairs are ok though, they have a steel frame and sit kinda nicely, Yeh i prob will empty the tank out, after discussing it, i just hope what happened last time doesnt happen again, last time i moved the tank i lost 28 fish in 4 days!!! cheers for the help
