at some point within the next few months, i will be moving into my own place with my girlfriend, a big step yes i know, and some of you be asking why???

i will be moving from manchester down to Northampton which is approx 140/150 miles away, and (doing the speed limit) and with normal traffic flow on the m6 and m1, takes about 2 1/2 hours, how would i go about moving my livestock????

god pinned topic about it here

good luck moving and moving in with your missus, hope it works out! :D

thank you :)

that topic was for tropical do the same rules apply for marine??

how about LR?

I`d treat my Lr as a rather hardy fish....

try to keep it under warer that way you prevent die off......
and also have plenty of Ro ready for water changes after the first few days as you will sir up lots of crap and it will cause a mini cycle

Agreed, buckets, bins, water, and towels. LOTS of all of the above

Edit: Quick tip for transporting corals, rubberband them to pieces of styrofoam and float them upsideown in containers. Keeps them wet, and the bobbing action of the styrofoam will keep them oxygenated. Thats how online distributors ship them nowadays

cool tip there ski!

like others have said it's nearly the same, just make sure LR and corals are kept under water and don't get bashed around

Could look at the bio-orb air pump and heater as these are 12V, what's that I hear you say 12V but thats the same as my car battery. Need more be said!

Just get someone who knows what there doing to do it!

As its AC you cout cut the two wires of the fag lighter and wire them into the heater then into the air pump, put this with the pinned topic and what Ski said your onto a winner!
