I have the same question... I am in the process of building a new stand right now. Just dropped too much money at home depot!

I have a 30g and a 10g that will have to be moved. The 10g will be a little easier but I don't know what to do about the 30. Do you just empty it as much as possible (keep the removed water in 5g buckets - move the tank - then fill it up again ASAP???)

Yep, that is basically it. You won't be able to move anything with the rock and water in there. I used big rubbermaid tubs when I moved my 75. It's messy, and time consuming. But I don't know of any other way.

Yeah, rubbermaid tubs is the way to go. Make sure you have lots of towels too
