Moving tank to other property

Would this work and still maintain the cycle?

-Place fish into bags
-place filter, substrate, other rocks and media into bucket of tank water
-drain tank
-move tank to other property (30 mins)
-add new, treated water and reassemble?

That will work, should be fine. I always try to take about half of the old water as well if it is possible.

I'd use an insulated cooler for the fish rather than bags.

Shouldn't be a problem moving them... and maintaining the water cycle. So, move also the old water along...
