I think I'm gonna take Donna back to school with me. How can I move her in the least stressful way possible? Also, she's in a 10 gal tank, and I want to put more girls in there with her, how many can I safely put in there? Or should I leave her by herslef bc she still has that weird white patch that DOESNT GO AWAY! its not like it is something growing on her, It's like her scales got weirdly bleached out. Gonna post some pics of it soon.

I'm pretty sure 6 girls in a 10G is doable. The least stressful way i think would put each fish in a bag and put just enough water in the bag for the fish to swim so then however your travel to the school the water wont shake too much or as much. If you wanted to just keep the fish on its own thats fine but if you want it to have friends then i'd get 6 girls, 4 at the least but that might not be enough to spread out the agression. Also if you go with more bettas you need to heavily plant the tank so the fish can hide from eachother.

How far do you have to take her? You're going to want to get a couple fish bags (you can get them from the petstore) and fill it 1/4-1/3 with her tank water (you should do a large water change the day before too so that water is clean). The rest of the bag should be air so she can breathe. It would be a good idea to double bag just in case. I like to use the really long, thick bags and then lay them on their side in a cooler with just enough water for the fish to be fully upright and swim a bit. If you put her inside a cooler it'll protect her from temperature changes and such (don't put ice or anything in the cooler though!) and also it'll be nice and dark to minimize stress. Remember to acclimate her to the new tank, and if you have to set up the new tank when you arrive I would cut open the top of the bag so she can get fresh oxygen while you're setting up.
