Well tomorrow i am moving my 10Gal and 22Gal tropical tanks.

I have got a way of storing as much water as possible and bags for the fish.

any other tips?

I recently moved the contents of two tanks into one larger tank without using any of the existing water and had no problems. I know others might suggest otherwise, but I experienced no mini-cycles and no fish died.

Am only suggesting this as you may find it easier not having to worry about moving as much of the water as possible. Just make sure you decholrinate any new water.

It sounds like you have the basic idea of what to do, remember to treat your filter media in exactly the same way as you do the fish, bag it in water and make sure it stays warm and when you bag the fish keep it at 1/3 water 2/3 air in the bags to ensure the water stays oxygenated.

The only other thing is stay calm and dont rush or panic, keep a level head and moving tanks and fish is a doddle, last month i moved 13 tanks and over 100 fish and only lost one small tetra through-out the move.
