Fishaholic
Hello. I am moving bedrooms across the house soon and need to know how to move my 2 tanks. I have a 10 gallon tank with 6 male guppies and 1 male Mickey Mouse platy. They have gravel, bubbles, a plastic plant, 2 caves, a heater, and a hang-on-back filter. I also have a 5 gallon with an internal filter, gravel, aquatic plants, and snails. That one will soon house a male betta after I get a few more supplies (hood, heater, hiding place, etc.).
These 2 tanks have to move from my current bedroom, thru the den, kitchen, living room, and dog room into my new bedroom. I don't want to stress my fish any more than they already will be from being in a new environment. How should I move the tanks without causing too much stress on my fish? Do I take the fish out, or just drain water enough that I can carry it? I don't want to crack my tank either.
Please help!
