Moving fish

I'm about to move some loaches from a too-small tank to a larger one. The tanks are a flight of stairs away from each other with nearly identical water parameters, except the destination tank is 1°-2° warmer. I have a fish-tank-only bucket and a net. Besides perhaps blending the water to acclimate temp, any other tips/suggestions in making the transition?

Blending would have wasted time... hope it worked.
I just moved 20 tanks of fish 800 km and lost 2 very old ones.

Other than the stress of netting, it worked out just fine, thanks. I poured them in the bigger tank from the bucket. They’re already swimming about. It was a very short trip after all.
