Moving a tank?

I am fixing to buy another 30 gallon salt tank from an individual that lives like 3 hrs from me. The tank has leather coral and many other goodies in the tank. I just want to see if having it unplugged for a long amount of time will effect the creatures in the tank like the anenomies and coral. I am going to try and make it happen as quick as possible.

Make sure all the fish and corals are placed in seperate bags and well packed for the journey.
If its possible to sotre the water for the journey then even better.

A journey of 3 hours is not overly long and everything should be ok as long as its well packed. (These creatures usually travel far longer to reach our tanks).
